Kick off the school year with an evening of fun, connection, and community at Riverside Park!
Bring the whole family and join Urban Core Collective's Education Justice Team for the SALT + PEPPA Back-to-School Kayaking & Picnic. Whether you're looking to paddle on the river, enjoy delicious potluck-style food, play games, make art, or simply spend time with other families, there's something for everyone.
🚣 Kayaking is available for the first 20 participants (5:00–6:30 PM), but everyone is welcome to join us for the picnic, games, and community activities throughout the evening.
This event is also a chance to learn more about the launch of SALT Cohort 1, celebrate the incredible work our Education Justice community has accomplished, and discover ways parents, caregivers, and youth can get involved in creating healthy, thriving schools!
