The Education Justice team at Urban Core Collective knows that parents and families are the foundation of children’s success. Join us for Community Café: Café Conversations, created by parents, for parents and caregivers in Grand Rapids Public Schools.
We will be holding space to talk about the joys and challenges of raising children, particularly how we can collectively advocate and organize to change the landscape, structure, and culture of our schools. Meet other GRPS families, and learn more about why it is so important to be organized, connected, and find ways to get involved!
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, auntie, or older sibling, or if you care for a child in GRPS, you are welcome to attend! And please invite a friend!
Snacks will be provided!
You are welcome to bring your kids with some of their favorite activities to help keep them busy.
