  • Everyday People Explore a Local Water Treatment Facility on 3/27

Have you ever wondered what processes occur to ensure that our water is safe to drink or cook with? Curious about how water from lakes and rivers is funneled to our households?

Join us for a field trip to the Wyoming Water Treatment Facility which provides water for over 200,000 residents in the city of Wyoming and a portion of Kentwood. During the field trip we'll learn about the water treatment process and then go outside to see the water treatment plant in action. Bring your questions and curiosities! Please see below for additional information.
