We are currently looking for a full-time, partially remote, independent organized, compassionate, highly motivated, detail and goal orientated Public Grants and Compliance Coordinator. The Public Grants and Compliance Coordinator will assist with the critical tasks related to compliance, financial management, and internal documentation collaboration

You’ll Get To:
Assist the Director of Public Grants and Compliance with critical tasks related to compliance, financial management, and internal documentation collaboration such as:
Coordinate and monitoring grant spending requirements
Tracking expenditures and compiling/submitting reports
Handling monthly revenue reimbursement requests and timely submission
Assisting in grant management support; budget and report preparation, cost projections, and spending analysis.
Assisting in managing relationships with hotel and other shelter partners
Collaborating with program staff to ensure internal documentation is up to date and available for compliance
Have in-depth knowledge of government regulations as it relates to funding and assist with researching potential funding opportunities.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Nonprofit Management, or a related area.
Experience in grant management and compliance reporting
Experience in financial management and budgeting
Strong computer skills including familiarity with word-processing, spreadsheets and database applications
Professional level of written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Outstanding organizational, analytical, prioritization, judgment, and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment
Capacity to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously while paying close attention to detail
Ability to work well with others and be a team player
Ability to follow written and verbal direction
Ability to work with confidential information and maintain the privacy of the material
Has an awareness and understanding of family housing and family homelessness.
Demonstrates comfort in a faith based organization
Must have excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team, with colleagues, volunteers and community members
Detail oriented and able to follow through on projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel
Infrequent lifting of materials up to 20 pounds may be necessary
