Event Description: Plants in the sedge family are notoriously difficult to identify. We’re here to help! Join botanist and LCWM Conservation Director Justin Heslinga for an informative evening at Wege Foundation Natural Area in Lowell. We will discuss the basics of sedge identification and highlight a variety of sedges that can be found in the preserve and in your own neighborhood.
This event will take place outdoors. Please dress for the weather! We will meet in the parking lot of the Wittenbach Wege Center.
