We are currently looking for a full-time, partially remote, organized, compassionate, highly motivated, detail and goal orientated Family Engagement & Stabilization Coordinator to join our team. As a Family Engagement & Stabilization Coordinator your main function will be working with families and children in their Kent County homes to support families in fostering safe, healthy and nurturing environments.

You’ll Get To:
Advocate and provide direct care services to assist families with the goal of gaining housing stability by:
Engagement
- Assist with recruiting and enrolling eligible families
- Conduct developmental screening and assessments on young children
- Responsible to work with families in their home
- Providing families with developmentally appropriate activities and information designed to enhance the child's intellectual, social-emotional, motor, and language abilities
Stabilization
- Provide best practice programming for economic mobility (employment) and housing and basic needs stabilization services
- Provide information on community and agency services and referring families to community resources
- Create, Assess, Evaluate and Modify Housing Plans and Stabilization goals with all families
- Support families in obtaining the knowledge and skills to support their child’s healthy development
- Assist families with access to basic needs, health, academic, housing and childcare needs
General Duties
- Participate in organization meetings, training and other initiatives.
- Manage large amounts of data at a high level.
- Additional duties as needed to support the agency.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have/Be:
- Bachelors in Human Services related field (Social Work, Family Counseling, Family Life Education). Master’s preferred.
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Presents familiarity of working with families and children
- Demonstrates comfort in a faith based organization
- Demonstrate the ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
- Energetic, self-motivated, organized individual who is accustomed to or seeking an entrepreneurial environment.
- Identifies with evidence-based case management practices
- Must have excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal communications
- Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team
- Must be able to work well with colleagues, board members, volunteers and community members
- Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment
- Prior case management software experience (preferred)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office products and Google suite of products.
- Background screening required.
- A valid driver’s license.
