Job Overview:
The Partnership Coordinator will serve as a spokesperson and champion of Family Futures in the communities we serve. This position will cultivate relationships with organizations, groups, and coalitions. This will be done through community outreach, recruitment, and engagement. This position will advocate for families by using a systematic approach to grow our partnership network. This position, at times, may require lifting boxes (roughly 25lbs) and transporting various items in the community with the use of a personal vehicle.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop new relationships and partnerships
Manage current partnerships with organizations and groups
Promote initiatives in the community
Identify opportunities for programmatic and organizational growth
Serve as spokesperson for Family Futures and its programs
Facilitate communications with partnerships, including reporting and quality checks
Identify media opportunities, manage media relationship(s)
Be willing to travel throughout West Michigan on an as-needed basis
Education and Experience:
The Partnership Coordinator candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, human services, or a related field. This candidate should have experience in developing relationships with organizations and/or community groups. The ideal candidate will also have written and verbal communication experience representing an organization.
